Bringing People to Maturity in Christ
Our vision as a congregation is to do the Lord's Will (Colossians 3:17), simply put. We aim to live as Christ in the World (1John 4:17) and nurture maturity in Christ for every one (Ephesians 4:16).
We purpose to accomplish this by not "exceed[ing] what is written" (1Corinthians 4:6) but rather following the instructions of Jesus Christ's chosen ambassadors, the Apostles (2Corinthians 5:20). They were guided to write everything pertaining to life and godliness (2Peter 1:3) by the power of the Holy Spirit (John 14:26; 15:26; 16:13) so that we could understand their insight into the mystery of Christ (Ephesians 3:3-4) and unite in it (John 17:17-23). So where the Bible points the way as a church and as leadership, we follow. Our mission, our management and our worship are all reflections of our commitment to being New Testament Christians and nurturing New Testament Christianity.
We hope to increase our numbers, expand our vision of ministry not only to support our work here in the Woodlands but anywhere the gospel is needed and we are able. We aim to serve each other in love and in truth. Just like the Lord (1Timothy 2:4), we want everyone to go to heaven - where the Bible points the Way!
